This course involves both practical and theoretical training.

  • Combination of classroom theory and practical hands on session
  • PowerPoint presentation overview of the Bristle Blaster Machine
  • Correct method of operation
  • Overview of the Bristle Blaster consumable items I.E Bristle Belts, Adapters, Accelerator bars
  • Overeview of ATEX Zone 1 approval and what this means
  • Overview on HAV (Hand Arm Vibration) adapter and what the analysis means to operator
  • Delegates receive a practical hands on session (10 mins operation). This is guided, supervised and observed by a Cactus Industrial trainer to ensure that the operator is familiar with the correct use.
  • The operator will be required to undertake an examination at end of training session.
  • On completion of the course operator is issued with Bristle Blaster Awareness training certificate.

Welcome to the Thin Film Intumescent Coatings Applicator Training Programme. This internationally accredited course has been developed by experts throughout the Intumescent Fire Protection industry.

 

The training program has been developed for thin film coating applicators who wish to gain additional qualifications through a certification training programme.

CSCS Card

SSPC Train the Painter issues 5 year CSCS ID cards with QR code technology to avoid card fraud, ICATS cards expire after 3 years, saving time and money. Cards are renewed by showing evidence to relevant work experience up to 10 years then a refresher course will be made available.

Internationally Recognised

SSPC Train the painter meets the requirements of the Joint SSPC and NACE standard for the training and qualification of applicators (SSPC-ACS-1/NACE 13) hence is a globally recognised qualification and certification programme. ICATS does not have a certification body.
